Whilst most of our clients are looking for a fully managed service to add commercial and environmental value to their waste, we also offer access to this knowledge and experience through our consultancy services. Eco-Power Fuels consults on every stage of the alternative fuel production and off-take process, both in the UK and internationally.
Eco-Power Fuels' director Martin Graves is one of the UK’s leading authorities on terminal and port logistics. Martin’s career stated at DFDS where he was the Operations & Logistics Director with responsibility for the company’s SRF and RDF cargos. Latterly Martin worked as freelance consultant harnessing his extensive network to find clients innovative and cost-effective routes. Our shipping and logistics knowledge enables us to establish and maintain a broad range of commercially and environmentally sustainable export routes. The ability to move waste derived fuels as cost effectively as possible enables us to increase the distance that these materials can travel, and ultimately increases the number of facilities available. This provides our customers with export solutions that would simply not be practical for other operators, and the added capacity ensures a highly consistent and stable off-take.
Exporting waste derived fuels for energy recovery is a highly labour intensive process and requires detailed knowledge of the Transfrontier Shipment of Waste Regulations 2007 (TFS).
Eco-Power Fuels has over 10 years’ experience in exporting materials to Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) countries (and certain non-OECD countries). From initial enquiry through to Notification, we provide a fully managed service that removes the need for our customers to resource the complex and time-consuming process required for full legal compliance.
